Media Press Registration is now Open!
Thank you for your interest in covering the Festival of the Lakes, taking place July 15-19, 2026 at the Wolf Lake Pavilion, Hammond.
Before applying, please review the following guidelines carefully:
Your Media Pass Has Rules
- Your Media Pass grants complimentary access to the Festival of the Lakes for approved coverage dates.
- It does not provide early, special, or exclusive access to any artist.
Media Passes Are for Journalists Only
- Registration is open only to journalists making regular editorial contributions, including writers, reporters, reviewers, producers, photographers, and cameramen attending specifically to cover the Festival.
- Media Passes will be granted only to those who have published a relevant article or story within the last 12 months.
- Non-editorial personnel, including marketing, sales staff, or family members, do not qualify.
Your Media Pass Is Personal
Media Passes are non-transferable. Passing, loaning, or selling your pass will result in disqualification from future applications.
One Application Per Organization
- Only one representative per media outlet may apply, covering up to two (2) people.
- This person will serve as the main contact, responsible for approval notifications and pass pick-up at the Hammond Civic Center.
Application Process
- Complete the entire application. Only fully completed applications will be considered.
- After review, applicants will be notified via email by July 8, 2026.
- Online registration closes at 11:59 PM Central Time on June 30, 2026.
- Approved applicants can collect passes at the Hammond Civic Center business office:
- Monday, July 13: 9:00am - 4:00pm
- Tuesday, July 14: 9:00am - 4:00pm
- No alternative pick-up dates are available.
Decisions Are Final
The Festival of the Lakes reserves the right to approve or deny any application, and all decisions are final.
