Media Press Registration is now Open!

Thank you for your interest in covering the Festival of the Lakes, taking place July 17-21, 2024 at the Wolf Lake Pavilion, Hammond.

Before you apply, please read the following:

Your Media Pass Has Rules

Your Media Pass allows complimentary access to the Festival of the Lakes for the approved date(s) of coverage.
Your Media Pass does NOT allow early access, special access or exclusive access with any artist.

Media Passes Are for Journalists Only

Media Pass registration is open to journalists making regular editorial contributions only. Editorial Press includes Writers, Reporters, Reviewers, Producers, Photographers, and Cameramen who are attending specifically to write about Festival of the Lakes.
Media Passes will be available only to the media who have written, published or produced a relevant article or news story within the last 12 months.
Non-Editorial personnel at media companies such as Marketing and Sales staff or family members do not qualify for Media Passes and will not be approved.

Your Media Press Pass Is Yours

Media Passes are non-transferable. You may not loan or sell your Media Pass, and anyone conducting such behavior will be disqualified from applying for Media Passes in the future.

Apply Once Per Organization

Only one member of your media outlet is permitted to apply for a Media pass, they can apply for up to two (2) persons from your media outlet. The person completing the application will be your organization’s main contact, and they will be the only person contacted for approval and responsible for picking up Media passes from the Civic Center.

Application

Please complete the application in its entirety. After the Festival of the Lakes receives your application, our team will respond, via email, no later than July 8, 2024. It is only after your complete application is received, reviewed, and approved that a Media Pass will be issued.
Incomplete applications will not be approved.
Online Press Registration will close at 11:59 PM Central Time on June 30, 2024.
Approved applicants can collect their Media Passes at the Hammond Civic Center, business office on Monday, July 15th from 9:00am-4:00 pm and Tuesday, July 16th from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Please do not miss these pick-up times. No other pick-up dates can be arranged.
